Young ODs of Massachusetts
The Young ODs of Massachusetts (YODs) is a dynamic community within the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists designed to support early-career optometrists and optometry students. Our goal is to create meaningful connections, foster professional growth, and build a strong peer network across the Commonwealth.
A “Young OD” is defined as an optometrist who has been in practice for less than ten years. Optometry students are also encouraged to participate and engage with the profession early.
Whether you’re navigating your first associate position, building a practice, or exploring leadership opportunities within optometry, YOMA provides a supportive space to connect, learn, and grow.
