Mass Vision Foundation
The Massachusetts Vision Foundation is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation dedicated to increasing awareness and importance of eye health to Massachusetts citizens, and to improve the quality of eye care in the Commonwealth through the educational enrichment of the general public and eye doctors. The Foundation awards scholarships to optometry students who intend to practice in Massachusetts, collaborates with other state health care organizations for eye health awareness campaigns, and helps organize front-line eye health vision screenings to underserved populations.
The Massachusetts Vision Foundation selects students from Massachusetts colleges of optometry toreceive annual scholarships. Contact Us for information and or download this application for the annual scholarship program.
Criteria
- Optometry student who is a Massachusetts resident, plans to practice optometry in Massachusetts and plans to become a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.
- Strong academic standing (GPA of 3.00 or higher)
- Financial need
- Community Service/Professional Leadership
