Dr. Zahka is a NECO '84 graduate. He is an award winning, board certified diplomate of the American Board of Optometry who has been an active member of the MSO and AOA for 36 years.

volunteer experience includes past president of the MSO. He has successfully served as Chairman of every major MSO committee. He is a past member of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Optometry, and past member on the Advisory Board for Tufts Health Plan.

Lynda brings to the MSO 20 years of proven experience in the areas of financial oversight, organizational management, customer service improvement, and professional staff development. Lynda's vast working knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting, multi-fund budgets, strategic planning, and financial forecasting are helping the MSO build a strong and stable organization.

Lynda has held management positions in both the private industry and education and has a deep working knowledge of executive management information systems and the ability to build strong cooperative relationship and client confidence across many disciplines. While improving membership and staff morale, Lynda brings infectious humor and a positive attitude to the MSO office.

Jessica has worked in the Insurance Industry and the Information Technology Industry for the past 20 years. Jessica brings to the MSO over 20 years of proven experience in the areas of organizational effectiveness and successful customer service. Her strong communication skills and her high level of initiative along with her vast technological skills will enable her to continue to build strong sponsorship relationships at the MSO. ​​

Her role with the MSO is to administer Continuing Education, build sponsorship relationships, and oversee the membership systems and relationships with ARBO, AOA, and assist members to connect with organizations that can facilitate answers to their questions. Jessica's exceptional communication skills will help members meet their needs, build stronger relationships with members and assist with their professional commitments. Jessica brings positive and exciting energy along with creativity to the MSO.
