David Metsch, O.D.
President
Dr. David Metsch has been active in the MSO for more than 20 years. He has served on the MSO Executive Board, Managed Care, and Legislative Committees. Dr. Metsch has had his own practice in North Andover for 25 years. He graduated North Carolina State University for his B.S., and Indiana University School of Optometry. Following optometry school he did a hospital based residence at the West Roxbury VAMC. Aside from optometry, Dr. Metsch is an avid musician, having played drums and percussion for most of his life. He resides in North Andover with his wife Renee and son Benjamin.

President Elect
Jennifer D'Amico, OD, MS, graduated from SUNY State College of Optometry with a Master's in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry degree. She was in private practice in Southbridge, MA, for many years, changing her career path during COVID to work in an OD/MD setting, and eventually becoming full time faculty in optometry at MCPHS in Worcester. She has been a career-long member of the MSO, working in various leadership positions both in the MSO and MOPAC throughout her career. She is married to Timothy O'Connor, OD, MPH, and they have one adult son who lives in Oklahoma.

Vice President
Dr. Linda Pham earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Her clinical training includes rotations at the Whiteriver PHS Indian Hospital in Arizona and the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Juneau, Alaska, through the Indian Health Service (IHS). Dr. Pham completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision/Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation at the West Haven VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
As a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Pham is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence. She has also served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Optometry at the New England College of Optometry (NECO).
Dr. Pham was featured in the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry’s (ASCO) “Optometry Gives Me Life” national campaign, highlighting her passion for the profession.
Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Pham enjoys hiking, Bikram yoga, practicing martial arts, and making annual trips to Alaska.

Secretary
Dr. Melanie Macbeth received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2004, and is a 1997 graduate of Colby College in Maine. Dr. Macbeth practices at MyEyeDr. in Belmont (formerly Bennett Family Eye Care). Her specialties include orthokeratology, specialty contact lenses, and myopia control. In 2019, Dr. Macbeth earned the distinguished title of Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.

Treasurer
Dr. Cohn graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1977. He is a past president of the MSO a past chair of the Managed Care Committee and remains a member of the legal/legislative committee. Dr. Cohn has been in private practice for over forty years in both Auburn and Westborough and practices with his wife Dr. Suzanne Lucash and his son Dr. Jeffrey Cohn.

Immediate Past President
Dr. Jeanne Hopkins received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1991, and her undergraduate degree in biology from Trinity College in 1987. She completed an ocular disease residency at Eye Health Services in Weymouth in 1992.
She is currently the Director of Vision Services at Manet Community Health Center in Quincy, MA where she opened the first eye clinic in 2015. She joined The Brockton Neighborhood Health Center in 2013 when they opened the first eye clinic before transitioning to Manet. Jeanne's first exposure to working in the field of optometry was when she worked in the office of Dr. Lester Brackley, OD and Dr. Richard Houghton, OD in Quincy while in high school. She has worked in private practice in her home town of Quincy, MA for many years. Jeanne has been a member of the MSO and was the Norfolk District Representative before assume the role of 2 nd Vice President.
